The Brooks Fashion Event

Winchester Fashion Week started with a flurry of shoes, shorts and dresses as our 9 beautiful models walked our very own catwalk in the Winchester Brooks Centre. The models, Lucy, Jess, Dionne, Georgina, Holly, Ayanna, Avalon, Tara, and Chelsea brought a glimpse of style and elegance to the catwalk. Clothes from Primark, New Look and Beales made an appearance as we were shown how to dress for the British Summer. Model Lucy kicked off the show wearing striped New Look shorts teamed with a tied cardigan from Beales to show us how to take an outfit from the hot summer days into the cool of the evening.

One of the show stopping outfits was worn by Avalon who modelled a matching set of tropical print skirt and top from New Look with an on trend cut out back adding an extra wow factor to the stunning outfit. The Kelly Brook collection was also widely featured throughout the catwalk show from stand out heels to Polkadot Capri trousers that brought attention to the model’s lower half, a perfect outfit for those with a top heavy figure. We were shown a variety of outfits from clothes to wear to the beach, office and on a night out bringing diversity to Winchester’s very own catwalk show.

Benefit kindly agreed to do the Models make up before the show and then set up a stall within the brooks centre to offer advice and make overs to the audience. The event also offered photography workshops taking place after the show, giving tasters of what it felt like to be one of our models by giving free photo-shoots complete with props. This proved a popular and fun afternoon setting a high standard for the rest of Winchester Fashion Week.

If you missed all this! We’re doing it all again next Saturday 16th!!!
